I was listening to the album Harmony by EPO the other day when it began to remind me of 9m88. This is the first EPO album I’ve ever heard, but it looks like I should go back in time a bit and revisit some of her earlier albums and music.
Update: Just realized that both EPO (エポ) and Mariya Takeuchi (竹内 まりや), along with Taeko Onuki, were known as “the three daughters of RCA” and 9m88 actually coverered one of Mariya Takeuchi’s songs. Perhaps that’s why I found them to be in the same vein?
